For more than 25 years I have been a digital editor, features writer and staff writer for publications including the Des Moines Register, the Minnesota Star Tribune, Gannett News Service, AOL, the Huffington Post Media Group, and Patch.com — as well as a contributing writer and photographer for publications from the New York Times to the Minnesota Twins.
From 2000-10, I was a reporter and digital editor for the Minnesota Star Tribune, covering everything from the Minnesota Vikings, Twins and Timberwolves to the gubernatorial antics of Minnesota’s Wrestler-in-Chief, Gov. Jesse Ventura.
And through it all — having lived everywhere from the Colorado Front Range to the western hills of North Dakota and beyond — I have been a passionate mountain biker.
MN Bikes was born out of that passion.
