MAPLE GROVE, Minnesota — The Minnesota Star Tribune is reporting that the Three Rivers Park District has unveiled plans for a new paved trail connecting one side of northern Hennepin County to the other.
The 20-mile proposed trail, named Weaver Lake Trail, presented the plan to the Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Board, on April 16.
The trail would run from the Mississippi River to Lake Rebecca in Greenfield, passing through Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Corcoran and other communities.
