MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Star Tribune is reporting the opening of 1,000-foot trail connection in north Minneapolis. The connector now links Olson Park to the 26th Avenue N. overlook, so cyclists can travel continuously from Theodore Wirth Park all the way to the Mississippi River and downtown.
The paved path travels under the BNSF railroad bridge, connecting North Minneapolis with the riverfront trail network.
